Who are we, you ask...
Rietvlei Concrete Works has been proudly serving the construction industry since 1996. We started out by manufacturing prestressed concrete lintels and supplying building materials mainly in the Rustenburg area.
In 2003, the business was taken over by Thys and Louwrens Oosthuizen. Since then, the company has grown steadily under Louwrens’ leadership. We expanded our product range to meet the changing needs of our customers and the construction industry.
To improve service and reliability, we built our own transport fleet. Today, we operate 8 trucks, allowing us to deliver efficiently across the North West province, including areas such as Brits, Klerksdorp, Lephalale, Kuruman, and surrounding regions.

Ready-Mix Concrete Plant
At Rietvlei Concrete Works, our modern ready-mix concrete plant is the backbone of our manufacturing process. We use our high-quality ready-mix concrete to produce a wide range of durable, reliable concrete products designed to meet everyday building and construction needs.
Our ready-mix concrete is used in the production of prestressed lintels, gully tops, window sills, columns, pillars, wash troughs, rainwater channels, and curb stones. Each product is carefully manufactured to ensure strength, consistency, and long-lasting performance.
We use PPC 42.5R high-strength rapid-hardening cement, combined with trusted Chyso additives, to improve durability, workability, and resistance to harsh conditions. Every batch is mixed to exact specifications and closely monitored through strict quality control processes.
